How to Find and Follow signs from the Divine

Have things been feeling a little topsy turvy lately?

There is some crazy Divine turbulence happening in the world right now.

Some (the lucky few) are feeling exhilarated and moving forward without knowing quite where they are going. They’ve spent so much time trying to be “in control” that this total lack of direction feels like a relief.

Most of us, however, are experiencing this turbulence in 1 of 2 ways. You either feel like nothing in your business (or life) makes sense OR nothing you are doing feels like it is working and you aren’t sure why.

No matter what group you fall into, a lack of clarity seems to be the defining characteristic of the time we are in.

I sat quietly and asked the Divine for some explanation as to what is going on and the answer that came to me was that it is imperative that we learn to listen to our intuitive voice, our inner wisdom. Our reliance on our brain to plan our path needs to lessen so we can strengthen the faith we have in the Divine guidance inside us and in the world around us.

The good news is that now that the Divine is working to free us from our addiction to our planning brains it is sending us extra big signs to help us along the path.

I’m often asked by clients how to “get signs.” You don’t have to go out and “get signs” (looking for them doesn’t work anyway.) Signs are available in every moment. You just need to allow them in.

In fact, it is the overwhelming number of signs that are sent that often make us doubt them.

For example, I was with my client the other day when she told me that she felt something new emerging but she wasn’t sure if that was the case or if she was just procrastinating. She wished she had a SIGN!

At that moment a crow landed near her, a few minutes later a butterfly flew by and then her child ran up to her unexpectedly, hugged her and told her she was awesome.

WOW! Talk about signs! But she didn’t see them. I explained to her the crow is a messenger between the dark and light and often signals an awakening of intuition or a stronger connection to the Divine. The crow is a messenger and since the butterfly came next, the crow was assuring my client that she was indeed in a period of transformation. The Divine then sent her child to literally hug her and tell her she is awesome.

My experience is that most of the signs us purpose-driven people receive point back to a few key messages…You are loved, You are awesome and You are enough.

I think the reason we often struggle to see signs is that we struggle to accept how much the Divine loves us just as we are. So if you are looking for a sign let this be it…
