Last week I asked my followers if there was any topic they’d like me to create content or training around. The overwhelming ask was this:
“Can you help me love myself more?”
Whoa.
That request came in all forms of questions – not everyone asked exactly this way – but this was at the heart of the request, and I’m glad. Here is why…
When we realize that our relationship to ourselves is critical to any other form of success, we hold the key to unlocking limitless potential.
Of course, “loving myself” is easier said than done. From a small age, we are fed so many messages that tell us to modify ourselves in some way in order to be acceptable, which essentially teaches us that we are not lovable as we are.
This relationship to our own wholeness, our own love-ability, is directly related to our ability to receive anything and everything from love and money to signs and messages from the Divine.
The Divine loves us exactly as we are and the closer we can get to loving ourselves that way – the more open we are to peace, prosperity, and joy.
On last week’s podcast, I shared 3 simple ways to start to create this more open and loving relationship with ourselves.
Don’t worry – it does not include looking in the mirror and telling yourself you are lovable. It does include very practical, boots-on-the-ground techniques you can start implementing today to bring your relationship with yourself into harmony.
And if you are raising children and wonder how you can help them love themselves fully exactly as they are, I can tell you from personal experience that the more you learn to love yourself, the more your children will be able to do it for themselves.
Generally speaking, our children are here as our teachers. They are a mirror to the work we need to do on ourselves. As you open to your own lovability, that naturally spills over into your kids.
