Most of my work with private clients is focused on helping them stand out in the crowd.
What you are doing is amazing and important. You are creating a valuable shift in the world but that shift won’t happen in the biggest way possible if you don’t have business fuel (aka MONEY) flowing to it on a regular basis.
Making more money means having more clients (or more sales) and in order to do that you need to be noticed. You must break through the noise of our inbox, Facebook, twitter stream, internet searches etc if you want us to pay attention to what you are doing.
It can feel daunting but it doesn’t have to be. You simply need to be different. You must create what I call a MAGNET. A magnet is an event, book or product that is so different and so interesting it makes your prospects and supporters sit up and listen.
The ALS Association has created a powerful MAGNET with their Ice Bucket Challenge. If you haven’t heard about this challenge you can find out everything you need to know by tracking #IceBucketChallenge on social media or by a google search.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has increased donations to The ALS Assocation by 800% in just a few weeks, which translates into roughly $13 million!!! They have recorded 307,598 new donors!!!! (I participated and I’ve added my #IceBucketChallenge video here.)
How would you feel if your sales grew 800%? Pretty incredible, right?! Results like these are normal when you launch a MAGNET. Because MAGNETS aren’t just about driving revenue, they get people talking about you and your mission.
Think about it – what can you do to create something extraordinary in the world that will create extraordinary results for you and your business?
The answer to that question is the answer to the question “How do I stand out in the crowd and make more money!”
