A few weeks ago I’d been feeling pulled to do a physical cleanse. Nothing major—just a reset. But truthfully, I didn’t want to. I was already on an emotional rollercoaster, and I didn’t want to lose my go-to comforts… especially chocolate. That tiny ritual felt like the one thing I could count on.
So I told my daughter Katie that I might wait a bit.
And without skipping a beat, she looked at me and said:
“One day or Day One?”
Oof.
She wasn’t trying to be profound. But Spirit has a way of working through the people around us, especially when we’re trying not to listen.
So I said yes.
Day One.
And what followed was nothing I expected.
Not just physical detox.
Not just clearer skin or more energy.
It was release.
Old grief. Unspoken resentment. Forgiveness I didn’t know I needed. All because I didn’t have the comforts I thought I needed.
Sometimes we miss Divine guidance because we’re looking for a different kind of answer. One that feels soft, or certain, or perfectly timed. But often the nudge comes when we feel least ready.
And when we say yes, even a hesitant yes, healing can rush in.
So if you’ve been feeling a pull… consider this your nudge:
Listen to the guidance. Do the thing that feels counterintuitive. Trust where you are being guided. The Divine may know something you don’t;)
With love,
Patty
P.S. If your nudge has anything to do with Ireland (even if it feels wild), I’m hosting a one-day retreat there on June 28. We’ll gather just after the summer solstice to reconnect with our magic and the Divine. You can join the waitlist here if it’s calling to you: Join the Waitlist Here
P.P.S. If you missed last week’s YouTube reading, “Unlocking Potentiality,” it’s a beautiful complement to this message. Spirit came through so clearly. You can watch it here: Unlocking Potentiality: Embracing Intuitive Gifts and Overcoming Limitations
