You need more sales calls not more certifications. Your business bottom line (aka money) grows when you have sales conversations. As in… you speak with someone LIVE and talk about their needs, wants and desires and if you have a solution that meets their needs, wants or desires you tell them about it. Then you ask them to pay you.
Certifications, trainings and skill-building are great! I love learning and you should to! But these do not magically make sales appear. Before you buy your next course or sign up for your master level certification in the thing you are already a master in please ask yourself “Will this really help me make more money or am I hoping that by doing this I will be able to avoid asking people to pay me money?” If it’s the latter, please forgo this investment for now. Invest in people who can actually help you learn how to make money. When growing a business, especially a service-based business with low overhead, it is easy to get distracted by people who market things that sound really fun and juicy like retreats, certifications and transformational experiences. They will leave you feeling like you need this NOW! That means they are good at marketing not that you actually need it NOW! Until you have the revenue you want in your business focus on investing in books, products and people that can help you make more money (NOW!)
