Write down the first thing that comes to your mind. Do not over think it.
Say to yourself now, ” I Love My…” and fill in the blank.
Now, I know from hundreds of women answering this question at my workshops that nine out of ten of you will have said that you love something outside yourself – your family, life, husband, sister, everything but anything about yourself. Am I right?
You are not alone. We are trained to identify our worth outside ourselves. This is especially encouraged once you become a mom.
So try it out again…
Answer “I Love My…” about you and only you! It can be anything because there is no right or wrong answer and most importantly, no judgment.
Start now and finish the sentence every day. If you can’t find anything, then it is time to start dreaming – write down what you WANT to love about yourself. Commit to being able to own that about yourself in the next day, week, or month. It doesn’t matter how long you need (sooner the better of course.) It is more important that you intend to love yourself in every way possible.
Who will love you if you don’t love yourself? Take the leap in loving yourself today, not tomorrow.
