I just got off the phone with an amazing woman I had the privilege of coaching last year. We hadn’t spoken in a few months so when she told me she just hit her goal income I was so flippin excited!
This is a woman who had struggled with the feeling that she was always taking two steps forward and ten steps back in her business every month. One of the things we did together was make a plan for how much money was going to come into her business and exactly how it was going to get there (i.e. marketing & sales).
And it was the plan that helped her move out of the cycle of fear and overwhelm that made her feel like she was taking 10 steps back. Now she was moving forward consistently and it felt great!
I love, love, LOVE writing down plans simply because they work. When our minds see in writing how something can happen, like hitting our sales goals, we start to believe in that goal. The BELIEF is actually what makes the sales happen. The plan gives our human mind something to do in the process.
Plans are what keep the fear and overwhelm from taking our soul’s hostage.
Plans also lovingly force us to honor our part of the manifestation equation. They give us something to DO to make our goals become a reality. And when the Universe sees us doing our part, it says “Well it looks like she is REALLY READY to manifest this new goal so let’s make it happen!”
One of my favorite plans to put together is a Sales and Marketing calendar because it helps you know week to week what marketing needs to get done to make your sales a reality. That is powerful stuff!
