Seriously, go have some fun.

Doing something just for fun is essential to being carried by the flow of your life. It is also an incredible stress reliever and anything that decreases the amount of stress we experience is a good thing, right?
How often do you play? You know – do something just for the fun of it. Every day? Every week? If you can’t remember the last time you played, it is time to get your play on!

If you are like many of my clients you can not remember how to play. You have been working so hard to take care of those you love or pay the bills or build your career that you’ve lost track of what fun even looks like for you. Not to fear! You are already one huge step closer to getting your play on simply by opening up to the desire to play.

Here are some suggestions on amping up the PLAY in your life:

Hang out with fun people. Positive vibrations are far more powerful then negative vibrations. If you spend more time with fun-vibrating people you are going to naturally attract more fun.

Laugh. Laughter opens a huge floodgate of creativity. Creativity you can bring to every part of your life – including your treasure hunt for fun. Not sure what to laugh at? Start with that youtube video of the baby laughing. I challenge you to watch this without experiencing a little tickle welling up inside you.

Make a list. Write out all the activities you think might make you happy. Try them out. What do you have to lose?

Add to the list. Now that you are conscious of a desire to play the Universe and all your non-physical friends will pitch in to help you out. Watch what appears when you open yourself up to a treasure hunt for fun.

Drop your excuses. My guess is you know at least one thing you’d like to do that would be a whole bunch of fun but you have a really good reason not to do it. I could list out all the excuses I’ve heard but here is the bottom line. Drop the excuse not to do it! This doesn’t mean you have to run out and do it tomorrow. Just remove the impossibility of it. By dropping your resistance to its possibility you have opened the door wide open for the Universe to take care of the rest.
