A dirty bottle + a sign

Last Monday I did something I haven’t done ever. I asked my mom and my dad for a specific sign. They send me so many that I’ve never felt the need to ask for something specific but I was needing a little extra magic.

On Thursday I hadn’t yet seen the signs I asked for from either, so I said to each:

What’s up? Where are my signs? I know you can send them and if I’m missing them please show me.

Friday morning as I was coming out of the gym there was an old bottle by my car door. My initial thought was “Wow that person really had to work hard to put it in my way.” It was in a place where I couldn’t open my door without hitting it.

As I went to get into my car the label grabbed my eye – a white daisy – the sign I asked my mother for.

Well done Mom! Well done!

Then I told my dad he needed to bring it since mom had clearly already brought hers. On impulse, I headed to the cemetery to visit their grave. I could immediately feel how close they were. My dad said The shamrock is right there. (That was the sign I asked him for.)

But I couldn’t see it. I thought maybe there was a shamrock carved into a stone and I looked around but … nothing.

I closed my eyes and breathed. I could feel my dad’s insistence so I knew the shamrock was there. I must be blocking it. Energetically I guided myself to open wide and receive.

As soon as I opened my eyes I saw them… a patch of shamrocks at the grave next to my parents. Then more shamrocks… and more. I suddenly realized they were growing all around my parents grave. Yet a moment earlier I couldn’t see my “sign.”

I find most of us struggle to see, feel, hear and “let in” all the communication we get from our loved ones, Spirit Guides and the Divine. It is all part of receiving and even with my gifts I still have to remind myself to open and receive.

That is why at my upcoming Wealth & Purpose Retreat part of what I’ll be teaching is how to receive these types of metaphysical gifts that are always waiting for us. This “receiving” energy is the same energy that is stuck or blocked when sales don’t flow in. Mastering receiving is the “inner game of sales.”
