I’m turning 40 this weekend.
I am really, REALLY excited to turn 40. Each of the last four decades has brought more blessings and increased wisdom. How could anyone not look forward to new friendships, increased wisdom and more love?
I have many, many friends that are turning 40 this year as well. I’ve been surprised to find out that not everyone shares my excitement for this new decade. For some, turning old is somehow negative.
In my humble opinion, most people get better with age. 40 feels like a juicy age that can be filled with untold levels of self-acceptance and adventure.
