Maureen Ross Gemme challenge is when she met with Patty in April she made a plan for her to speak as much as she could (at least once a month) and she booked some workshops and applied to speak at a few conferences so she could drum up some business with potential individual clients as well as businesses who need training. She got a referral from a speaking gig she did in April and booked a meeting with a manufacturing client. They loved what she had to share and were more interested in her 6 month program called The Conscientious Leader than a simple lunch and learn program. They ran out of time so she booked a second meeting on June 18th and told them she would send some information via email. She got inspired to create a PPT presentation and did a voice over to create a 10 min movie on her program. She got a very complementary email saying it was great and they are looking to discuss this further and confirmed their appointment. Now she is a bit frantic to figure out how to price this, own that price, set out a contract with details, because she doesn’t really know how to do that! Does she price per person? Does she price the whole package? She feels like it will be about 40 hours of work each month for 6 months but she doesn’t want to price by the hour. Does she need to justify the costs? She is so excited to have her first client and she doesn’t want to lose it over price but she doesn’t want to sell herself short either.
